You Were Never Alone

The spaceship drifted silently after the engines died. Outside the window, space looked calm—too

calm. Then the lights flickered. A voice crackled over the radio:

“Crew… do you copy?” But the crew was already gone. Footsteps echoed in the hallway,

slow and heavy, even though gravity was off. A shadow moved past the door,

stretching in impossible shapes. The radar beeped once. Something was attached

to the ship. As the last light went out, a message appeared on the screen:
