I sent my uncle to prison, should I feel bad? I’m Daniel, 29.

My grandfather passed away three months ago, he was the rock of our family.

He’d built a small business from nothing and always said he’d make sure everyone was “taken care

of.” When the lawyer called us in for the will reading, I expected tears, maybe a few arguments,

but nothing could’ve prepared me for what happened. We were all sitting there,

my mom, my uncle, my cousin Rachel, and me. The lawyer started

reading. My grandfather left the house to my mom, the car to my uncle,

and then he paused. The business, the one we’d all worked in, was left to me.
