The Night That Changed Everything

It was a very cold night. As I cuddled under the covers, I slept so good

because I was so warm. But then all of a sudden, out of nowhere,

as I slept, I began to feel cold air. Out of nowhere, I remember reaching

for my covers because I thought, well, maybe in my sleep I kicked my covers

off. But the more I went to reach for my covers, it seemed as if

I couldn't get a grip on it. But as I pulled to retrieve my cover, I looked to find

that I was not by myself. There was an enemy that I would have never dreamed would

be my enemy. My own stepbrother was pulling my covers from me in the middle of the night.
