AITA for Judging My Friend’s Gossip

AITA for judging my friend? So I have a friend that I've known for a couple years

and we were hanging out last week. They started talking about a friend whom they've known way

longer than me and considered a close friend. Basically saying how they've outgrown

them, but it was so derogatory. Just basically saying they're unable to connect with them

on deeper topics and only have surface level convos and fun with them. Laughing at silly

jokes together, etc. But saying it in a way that was so condescending and mean,

almost as if they were above them in some way. The interesting thing was that my

friend kinda stopped themselves as they were digging in, realizing they were kinda being mean
