Always Under the Bed

Last night, I was trying to sleep. I rolled over… and heard a soft whisper

from under my bed. At first, I thought it was my imagination. Then it said my

name. I froze. My heart started pounding. I whispered back:

“Who’s there?” Nothing. I peeked under the bed… Empty.

I laughed nervously and climbed back in. That’s when I felt a cold hand grab

my ankle. And a voice whispered right in my ear: “I’m under here… always watching.”

I haven’t slept in my room since.
