Amazon's Automation Will Displace 600,000 Jobs

So an internal document from Amazon was leaked to the New York Times, and in that document,

Amazon says that they're going to, they're gonna replace 600,000 human jobs with,

um, automation. You know, robots, for the most part.

And they're going to do that between now and the year 2033 , and this is gonna

save them more than $10 billion. It's gonna save them about 30 cents per package in terms

of fulfillment costs, and this will cause some severe backlash from the public, so they even have

a, a strategy to try to improve their corporate image by doing things

like, you know, not calling the robots "robots" but instead saying
