Ambition Found After Heartbreak

My girlfriend dumped me saying she deserves someone better, someone with actual ambition.

Three months later, she saw my promotion announcement on LinkedIn. I'm now making six

figures at the company she got rejected from twice. She texted me congratulations with three heart

emojis. I replied thanks and mentioned my new girlfriend just accepted my proposal.

She works at that same company as a senior director. She called me crying saying she made
