Are Our Hearts Numb?

The prophet said, "The believers, in their mutual love, mercy,

and compassion, are like one body. When one limb suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness

and fever." Sahih Bukhari and Muslim. But look at us now. When one part of

our body bleeds, Palestine, Yemen, Kashmir, Sudan,

Uyghur, Rohingya, do we feel the pain? Or have our hearts gone numb?

We share hashtags. We change profile pictures. But unity is not just emotion; it's

action, it's connection, it's standing shoulder to shoulder for one another.
