Atoms Bonding to Lower Energy

Everything in the universe is actually just trying to be as lazy as possible. Atoms are high-key

stressed out when they are alone because they have too much potential energy. To fix this,

they try to mimic the cool, unbothered Noble Gases by following the Octet Rule.

They have three main moves to get stable. They either steal electrons like a

toxic ex to form an Ionic bond, share them equally like besties in a Covalent bond,

or let them flow free in a Metallic bond. Chemistry is really just atoms doing

whatever it takes to lower their energy and relax.
