Stopping GLP-1s without a plan is a biological trap. It’s called the metabolic gap.
When you lose weight, your metabolism slows down, but your hunger signals actually
get more aggressive. The medication was a bridge over that gap. If you remove the
bridge without reinforcing the ground underneath, you fall. That ground is muscle. You need to lift
weights and hit your protein goals to act as metabolic insurance. Since the chemical
fullness is gone, you have to rely on mechanical satiety by filling up on fiber and volume.
Don't remove the bridge until the ground is solid.
