Babysitting Pay Cut After Learning I’m Jewish

This guy tried to slash my pay by two hundred dollars the second he found out I was Jewish.

My friend’s uncle was desperate for a Christmas Eve babysitter and offered five hundred bucks

for the night because nobody else was available. I took the gig. Then my friend mentioned

I’m Jewish, implying I wasn't busy anyway. Suddenly, the uncle drops

the rate to three hundred. He lied and said it was because of fewer kids,

but my friend confirmed he’s just being cheap. Now my mom says I’m greedy,

but I told him it’s the full five hundred upfront or nothing. That’s the price of desperation.
