Barkerville: A Journey to the 19th Century

This place is literally keeping the 19th century alive. I am walking through Barkerville and

every single sign and card you see is actually printed right here on site. They are using genuine

antique presses from the 1800s and one is even gold plated. It is crazy seeing

this stuff actually run. It gets deep too. The guy here said almost everyone

tells him their grandpa was a blacksmith in Saskatchewan. It feels like we are staring at the

last remnants of that old school farming era with the hay forks and dump rakes.

You need to experience this history before it fades away.
