SCENE 1 — THE BEGINNING (2015) NARRATOR (David / Qua): 2015.

I was skinny — about 145 pounds. A comb-over haircut. More of a boxer’s body than anything

else. That year, I met Alina Zaripova… through a mutual friend named Jama.

We were just three friends at first. Exploring the city. Talking. Laughing.

Feeling young. ⸻ SCENE 2 — FIRST CONNECTION We met up in Central

Park. Had a couple drinks on a rooftop. And somehow… we ended up dancing

bachata. It felt easy. Natural. Like something special might be there.

Then Jama went back to Florida. I went back to the Hamptons. And life kept moving.
