Betrayed by My Roommate's Carelessness

"My roommate did something I can’t forgive..." <break time="2.0s" /> So, I live with my best

friend from high school. We’ve been roommates for about a year, and honestly,

everything was great… until last week. I had this big project for work — something I’d been stressing

over for months. My laptop had ALL the files, presentations, and notes.

I told my roommate, “Please don’t touch it, I need it for tomorrow.” Well,

I came home late that night… and my laptop was GONE. When I finally found it in his room,

he was playing games on it… and the screen was frozen. He had tried to “fix” a lag by deleting

files to make space. When I opened the recycle bin… my ENTIRE project folder was gone.
