Boundaries with Family Responsibilities

I refused to take in my brother’s kid. Yeah… I told him no when he said

he had nowhere else to go. Before you think I’m cold, here’s what actually

happened. My brother has always been the “fun uncle” type. No stability,

no routine, never kept a job longer than six months. Meanwhile,

I’ve worked the same job for years, paid my bills, kept my life together. Last year he had

a kid with a woman he barely knew. They broke up almost immediately, and suddenly he
