Ever grab your phone for five minutes… and suddenly it’s hours later? Teens spend around
seven hours a day on phones outside school, and it’s hurting mental health —
anxiety, depression, and poor sleep. Social media keeps you hooked — infinite
scroll, constant notifications, feeds that never end. Plus,
there are predators and bullies. Not good. Even your eyes suffer. Too much screen
time can cause myopia, or worsening eyesight. Social media are fun, but overuse is addictive
and harmful. Take breaks, set limits, or just put it down. Your sleep,
mood, and eyes will thank you. Mic-drop.
