You can literally build a custom internet on your laptop in five minutes. Stop relying on
default settings in Mininet because we are building a custom topology from scratch using
Python. Open up the Nano editor—don't be scared of the terminal—and grab the example
file. We’re going to mod this. The mission is simple: code three switches
and attach two hosts to every single one. You just define the nodes,
add the links, and save the script. Run the pingall command, watch those packets
fly, and you just simulated a complex network without spending a single dollar
on hardware.
