Your beautiful Android app is totally useless if it forgets everything the second you close it.
Sure, you can use GridLayout to organize your views and CardView to get those slick,
rounded corners and shadows. That makes the interface look clean. But pretty layouts
don't save user data. You need a brain for your code. Start with SQLite
to store data locally on the device using simple tables. It’s built-in and handles all your
SQL commands like a champ. Then, when you're ready for real-time syncing,
switch to Firebase. Master the database, and you stop building static screens and start building actual
software.
