Collision of Realities

I ran. The second I stepped through that door, the other me charged straight at me—full

speed—like they’d been waiting to finish what the split started. Alarms blared in

the tunnel. Sparks shot off the rails. Some force was trying to drag us together,

like magnets snapping shut. I dodged just as they swung at me— their hand grazing

my shirt and burning like static fire. A train’s headlight roared alive behind us,

blinding white, metal screaming as it tore down the track The other me grabbed

my arm, shouting: “ONLY ONE OF US IS REAL—PROVE IT!” We stumbled onto

the tracks, fighting, pushing, slipping— the ground shaking
