Confessed Cheating After Six Years

My best friend gave me the worst ultimatum of my life: tell my husband I cheated six years ago,

or she would. Back then, I thought he was dumping me for a job,

so I got drunk and made out with a stranger. He actually stayed to surprise me,

and I buried the secret. Yesterday, I finally confessed. I expected screaming,

but he just went silent and cried in the bathroom. I’ve only seen him cry twice in nine

years. I moved out to give him space, and even my parents hate me now.

My mom just brought him over to talk, and I think I’m about to sign divorce papers.
