Contracts with Minors: A Risky Gamble

Signing a contract with a minor is the fastest way to legally lose all your money.

In the eyes of the law, that agreement never even happened because it is void ab initio.

If you lend a teenager cash and they refuse to pay you back, you cannot sue them, even if they lied

about their age to get the loan. The law protects their stupidity, not your wallet.

The only exception is if you give them necessities like food or medicine. Then,

you can get paid from their property. So check that ID, or you are just donating to charity.
