COP 30 Faces Deadlock in Climate Talks

Global climate talks are at a standstill. Halfway through the COP 30 conference in Brazil,

countries are miles apart on key issues like money, adaptation, and ditching fossil

fuels. The agenda has ballooned, stretching everyone thin. There's a huge fight

between top-down rules and letting countries choose their own path. Now,

the presidency is calling for a 'mutirão'—a special gathering to try and break the deadlock and

actually get something done.
