Custom Container Plunge Pool Project Challenges

For this project, the owner chose a six-metre container plunge pool, fully customised

to suit their liking. But before we could install anything, we ran into a problem. The leach drains

were drawn incorrectly on the original house plans, so we had to bring in a plumber to

locate the position of the leach drains. After, we ran into another problem.

The home is located in an FZ-rated bushfire zone, the highest possible rating.

That meant we couldn't use any combustible materials, so we swapped the original decking

boards for hardie-fibre cement and replaced the pool's coping boards to match. This caused major

delays. Instead of taking 4 months, it ended up taking 12 months to complete.
