Daniel in the Lions’ Den

Daniel was a faithful servant of God in Babylon. Every day, he prayed to God,

no matter the danger. But jealous officials made a law, Anyone who prayed to God would be

thrown into the lion’s den. Daniel prayed anyway. He was arrested and thrown in with

hungry lions. That night, God sent an angel. The lions’ mouths were shut.

Daniel was not harmed. At sunrise, the king rushed to the den. “Daniel,

did your God save you?” Daniel replied, “My God sent His angel,

and I am safe.” Faith defeated fear. God still protects those who trust Him.
