Debate on Social Media Ban for Kids

Curious of what other parents think of the ban of social media accounts for children under 16.

My kids are young, both under five years, but I'm an early 80s millennial and

fully aware of the internet being similar to the wild west, especially social media.

I dread the day they ask for their own phones. If every kid in their class has

a phone and social media accounts, how can you say no without your child being socially

alienated? It will be interesting to witness the effect this has in Australia, hopefully some meaningful

studies come out of it. I think it's good to hold off for as long as possible.
