Language and its definition. Aspects in the study of language. Language is a complex,

many-sided phenomenon with numerous functions (communication, thought, literary expression,

social institution). Consequently, a single definition is problematic and depends on the researcher's

focus. From a linguistic perspective, it can be defined as a structured

system of signs used for forming, storing, and exchanging information in the process of
