Thawing Hearts, Holding On

My pain of realization and position in your life. It used to cut me

deep like a sharp knife. Wounded and hurt, my soul felt

lost. Exhausted and in pain, my heart covered in frost.

Ice cold and determined to never thaw again. Then one day the clouds opened,

and when it started to rain, that is when the healing started with you again.

And my ability to love you once more took over my brain. Your love and
