Design for Usability: Keep It Simple

Your rage against bad websites is actually backed by hard math. It turns out that

burying features in deep, layered menus is the quickest way to kill a user's

brain cells. The science says keep it broad and shallow so we don't get lost.

And if you have ever tried to click a tiny button and missed, that is a violation

of Fitts’ Law. The rule is simple: make the important stuff big and easy to hit.
