Echoes of Loneliness

I've got loneliness to spare. Feels like I've been alone since the womb.

So many voices in the air, up there. They echo in my room.

My mind ain't gentle when it speaks. Rain keeps falling, what does it

mean? Maybe it's time I stop to wait. Maybe I'm late.

Maybe I'm weak. Child, my hand could never reach to you.

I think about it every day. When my tears and all my longings

run down my face, washed away.
