Embracing the Chaos Within

They ask me what the inside of my head sounds like. And I tell

them, it sounds like a radio scanning for a station it can never

quite find. Static. Volume up. Volume down. First is the

lightning. The ADHD mind. A Ferrari engine with bicycle brakes. It is a

thousand tabs open in a browser I cannot close. It is the brilliant idea at

3:00 AM that vanishes by dawn. It is running a marathon while standing perfectly still.

Then gravity shifts. The depression is not sadness. Sadness is a

visitor. This is a tenant. It is the concrete blanket.
