Emergence in Minimal Motion

Every designer knows that moment when a static image suddenly clicks in your mind as pure motion.

I was staring at this minimalist piece, navy background with an orange circle

hovering above these layered blue arches, and I couldn't unsee it. The orange circle

had to pulse into existence first, like a sun breaking through darkness. Then those concentric

arches, they needed to unfold one by one, each curve sliding up from the bottom

in waves, darkest blue first, then lighter and lighter shades rippling upward.

The whole composition breathed. What started as a simple geometric study became this
