Giving the government full control of the economy is the fastest way to kill human potential.

It all comes down to who makes the decisions. Under socialism, a central planner

decides what you need. Under capitalism, you decide. The reality is something

called the Local Knowledge Argument. A politician in the capital cannot possibly know your

life, your struggles, or your dreams better than you do. Plus,

wealth redistribution hits the Day Two Problem. As soon as you spread the money,

people change their behavior, and the system breaks again. Real progress happens

when you control your own future.
