Endurance in the Valley of Boycott

The boycott took effect. <break time="0.8s" /> Trade stopped. <break time="0.8s" /> Contact was cut. <break time="0.8s" /> Support became impossible

within the city. <break time="0.8s" /> Those who stood with Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had a choice. <break time="0.8s" />

To abandon him. <break time="0.8s" /> Or to withdraw together. <break time="0.8s" /> They chose unity. <break time="0.8s" /> Families left their homes. <break time="0.8s" />

Not in secrecy. <break time="0.8s" /> But with resolve. <break time="0.8s" /> They moved to a narrow valley outside Makkah. <break time="0.8s" />

There was little shelter. <break time="0.8s" /> Limited access. <break time="0.8s" /> And no protection from hardship. <break time="0.8s" />

Food became scarce. <break time="0.8s" /> Supplies were blocked. <break time="0.8s" /> Children cried from hunger. <break time="0.8s" /> Yet they remained

together. <break time="0.8s" /> Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not leave them. <break time="0.8s" /> He endured

what they endured. <break time="0.8s" /> And strengthened them with patience. <break time="0.8s" /> Allah revealed reassurance
