When anger strikes, it can feel overwhelming. But understanding powerful steps can help
you regain peace. First, find your spiritual shield: silently say,
“Aʿūdhu billāh.” Seek refuge in Allah from unwanted thoughts. Next, change your environment.
Calmly walk away from the immediate situation, creating physical and mental distance.
This mindful action instantly helps slow your racing heartbeat and restores a profound sense of
inner calm. For deeper peace, perform ablution, purifying yourself, then pray two
rakʿahs, connecting intimately with your Creator. The Hadith advises: 'If one of
you becomes angry while standing, let him sit;' …and if anger continues,
