They told me youth was fleeting. So I built a mirror that never blinks.

It stares, it copies, it perfects. Every year I feed it another

piece of me. My pulse became electric. My breath a cloud of code.

I don't age, I update. I wanted forever, but forever took everything.

I wanted to feel alive and now I only function. Ah.

Ah. I remember the sunlight, but the only light now comes

from screens. The line between reflection and self-blur until the mirror

won. They said I'm beautiful, and I believed it.
