Faith Through the Roof

Capernaum burns with whispers. He's back, the teacher's home again. Ah.

The crowd presses in like a wave, walls shaking with need and noise. And in the crush

of flesh and doubt, four men carry faith on a mat. No room at the door, no mercy in the crowd.

But faith won't wait in line. They climb above the noise, hands clawing through

clay and sky. Dust falls like prayer, hope breaking through the roof.

They lower their brother down, broken but believing. And silence fills the air.

Seeing their faith, Jesus spoke, "My child, your sins are forgiven." Who can forgive

but God alone? They whisper, hearts of stone. He reads their thoughts, He knows their wars.
