Family Feud Over Broken TVs

I broke my brother-in-law’s TV and I’m not replacing it. I babysit my niece and nephew all the

time for my stepsister. They’re good kids, but my nephew refuses to wear the wrist strap on his Switch.

A few weeks ago, he broke my TV while I was watching him — a TV I paid for myself.

He apologized, but he’s eight, so obviously I didn’t expect him to pay. I expected my stepsister

to. She said no and blamed me for not watching him closely enough.

My mom backed her up and said I was being money-hungry. So I said fine, I won’t babysit

anymore. That started a huge fight because apparently, as long as I live at home,

I have to babysit. The next Friday, I didn’t. I went out with friends.
