Why Is All the Rum Gone?

Sun creeps up on a shattered bay. Smoke on the water from a

fire yesterday. Hull still groanin', sails torn thin. Silver in my pockets but the

pain sets in. Barrels empty, deck runs dry. Crew all swearin' they don't know

why. Forts and ruins, flags all torn. Won the plunder, woke up worn.

Pie- pieces of eight on the captain's table. Cannons still hot,

ships still able. Victory sweet, but something's wrong. There's one damn thing we're missing
