Focus Group Blames Red-Light Driver

Most people believe an unbelted passenger who becomes quadriplegic is not at fault for his own injuries.

A 69-year-old dad was in the backseat when his daughter, speeding 15 mph over,

got T-boned by a truck that ran a red light. The dad is now a quadriplegic.

The defense argued he wasn't wearing a seatbelt and his daughter was speeding. But a focus group

overwhelmingly blamed the red-light driver. They even found the expert who said the injury would've

happened anyway more believable. In the end, they assigned almost no blame to the

father.
