Founding Fathers: Drama and Hypocrisy

The Founding Fathers were actually messy drama queens who barely kept the country from collapsing.

George Washington spent his time babysitting Hamilton and Jefferson while they screamed about national banks.

He literally marched an army on his own people just to enforce a whiskey tax. Then John Adams

took over and made it illegal to criticize him with the Sedition Acts because he couldn't handle

the heat. Jefferson finally got in, preached small government, but then hypocritically

bought Louisiana from Napoleon to double the nation's size. He even banned all

trade to stop a war and accidentally wrecked the economy, proving the first three presidents

were just making it up as they went along.
