Your smartphone absolutely destroys the supercomputers of the past. It all started with
the Intel 4004 in 1971, a chip that could barely handle basic math,
while we stored data on paper cards with actual holes in them. We went from massive
room-sized machines like the Serbian CER-10 to people soldering their own DIY computers
called Galaksija just to play games in the eighties. Now, we are staring at
quantum computers that solve problems in seconds that would take traditional machines millions
of years. We aren't just computing anymore; we are literally bending physics to process
data.
