From Troubled Youth to Successful Veterinarian

My son fell in with the wrong crowd - the overprivileged/undersupervised. He ended up flunking out of 9th grade

and dropping out of school altogether. His Mom and I were divorced and he decided to live

with her since I was more consequence based and she was loosey goosey. He ended up ditching

those friends who would not long after get in deep legal trouble (shoplifting, meth and illegal

weapons). He enrolled at a different school, picked his grades way up and made

straight As for 10th-12th grade. He got into college on probation (since he'd flunked 9th

grade). By then, his peers were urging him to come out and party.
