Giants of the Bible and Ancient Texts

The Bible describes a king whose iron bed was 13.5 feet long. His name was Og,

and he was one of the last of the Rephaim, a race of giants. Scripture actually

mentions several giant people groups, like the Amorites, who God said were as tall as cedar

trees. When spies first saw them, they said they felt like grasshoppers

in comparison. And then there's Goliath. His armor alone weighed 125 pounds.

What’s crazy is that ancient Egyptian texts also mention a giant people called the Anakim in Canaan,

describing warriors up to 8’7” tall. These weren't just myths.
