God’s Nearness in Christmas Grief

It just doesn't feel like Christmas without him. Grandpa always made it special.

Now it just feels empty. I know, sweetheart.

Grief doesn't pause just because it's the holidays. When someone you love isn't here,

the world can feel different, quieter. I keep thinking about last year,

how he prayed before we opened gifts. He always talked about how faithful

God was, but now that he's gone, I don't know, it's hard
