Hiding in Plain Sight

This cannot be happening. I locked every door twice before going to bed. But now I'm standing

in my hallway at three in the morning, staring at my front door wide open. The chain lock is

still fastened. Meaning whatever opened it came from inside. I hear my shower

running upstairs. I live alone. My phone is charging in my bedroom, past the bathroom.

I grab a kitchen knife and slowly climb the stairs. The bathroom door is cracked open,

steam pouring out. I push it wider. The mirror is completely fogged except for two words written

with a finger. "Found you." I spin around and the shower curtain rips open.

But there's nobody there. Just the water running ice cold. Then I hear my bedroom
