You don't actually need to be from the biggest political party to become Malaysia's Prime
Minister. The Federal Constitution says the King appoints whoever commands the confidence of
the majority, regardless of their specific party size. It is literally just a numbers game
where you need at least 112 MPs to back you up. But here is the wild part about
job security. The King cannot technically fire a Prime Minister. If a PM loses support,
they have to voluntarily resign or dissolve Parliament. And remember, if the boss quits,
the entire Cabinet gets fired immediately.
