Most people don’t realize that U.S military uniforms didn’t always look the way they do
today their colors changed because battlefield needs changed over time! 🇺🇸 In the early
years soldiers wore bright or solid colors like blue and khaki simply to show identity
and unity but by the early 1900s the U.S Army shifted to olive drab and earth tones to help
troops blend into forests and fields during World War I and beyond.Bright uniforms made soldiers
easy targets once rifles became more accurate.Later in the 20th and 21st centuries the focus
shifted even more toward camouflage patterns like woodland desert and multi-terrain were developed so
soldiers could blend into their surroundings increasing survival and effectiveness in combat zones.Modern
