Intro For as long as humans have lived, we have been breathing. Inhaling oxygen
and exhaling carbon dioxide to make energy. But what if there was another way?
What if humans could photosynthesise? Part 1: What is photosynthesis? Now,
most of us know that plants only really need sun and water to grow, but why is it that
way? Unlike animals, which get energy from breaking down nutrients from food
into glucose, then turning that into Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), the main energy
source for all life, plants use cells called Chloroplasts to turn carbon dioxide, an electron donor
(usually water), and light to form glucose and ATP. Now, plants have a few
