I Rise Again

I fell so many times I lost a count. Hit the ground,

had a way out. Voices say you're done, say you're down.

But pain never shut me down. I walked alone through heavy nights. No applause,

no flashing lights. I rise again. From the dark I rise. Facing my fears.

blood on hope, blood on hope. Till I learned how not to fold.

Every scar I ever got turned me into what I'm not afraid to be.
