It started with a text from no one. Just three words: I see you. I laughed it off,

but then another came. And another. Every thirty seconds, describing things

only I knew. My childhood pet's name. The scar on my left knee.

What I ate for breakfast. I tried blocking it, deleting everything, but my phone kept

buzzing. Then one final message appeared on a black screen: check behind you.

My blood went cold. Every instinct screamed to turn around, but I couldn't move. Because deep down,

I knew if I looked, I'd see exactly what was texting me.
